Kragujevac's "Energetika"
Kragujevac's "Energetika" began using coal as its primary fuel source in 1962, the year the first boiler was put into operation. In the following years, as the energy demands of industry and citizens grew, the company expanded its capacity, supplying also energy to factories “Zastava”.
Basic information about the project
The project “Management and Reuse of Ash from the Heating Plant in Kragujevac” is the result of a joint initiative by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the City of Kragujevac
Project objective
The objective of the project is the complete removal of ash from the heating plant site and its reuse, in line with the principles of circular economy and sustainable industrial waste management.
Selection of the contractor and supervision of project implementation
The implementation of the project “Management and Reuse of the Ash/Slag from the Kragujevac DH Plant – Serbia” was entrusted to the Consortium BTD2.
Standards and compliance
The project is being implemented in accordance with national and international regulations and standards, with the aim of improving air quality, addressing landfill issues, promoting sustainable development, and protecting health and the environment in Kragujevac.
Project organization
The Consortium has selected a project team for the implementation of the project, composed of individuals with experience in executing similar projects.
