Project objective

The objective of the project is the complete removal of ash from the heating plant site and its reuse, in line with the principles of circular economy and sustainable industrial waste management.

During the project planning phase, it was decided that the ash would be used as a substitute for natural mineral raw materials in the construction materials industry, primarily in cement production.

In European Union countries, about one-third of all ash ends up being used in the production of cement and cement clinker.
