Selection of the contractor and supervision of project implementation

The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), conducted an open public procurement procedure through the EBRD’s electronic platform.

The implementation of the project “Management and Reuse of the Ash/Slag from the Kragujevac DH Plant – Serbia” was entrusted to the Consortium BTD2.

The members of the Consortium are:

  • Bedem Energy Solutions d.o.o. Pančevo
  • Discovery Resources d.o.o. Belgrade
  • Tekon tehnokonsalting d.o.o. Belgrade
  • Jelena Đorđević PR Đorđević Inženjering Kragujevac.

The Consortium is responsible for the implementation of the ash removal and reuse project, in compliance with all technical, environmental, and legal requirements.

Through the electronic platform, EBRD also carried out the selection process for technical supervision, which will play a key role in monitoring the quality and progress of the work. The company "AG Institut" Novi Sad was selected for supervision. From the moment the supervision team is selected, project activities are formally launched on-site, marking the beginning of the implementation of contractual obligations.
